QUOTES

win the heart
open the mind

...

the battle is spiritual not intellectual

...

to question the value of life is to question ones self

...

no words can paint the joy of a sunrise

LOVE

music is a celebration of the soul for without heart it is just noise

another branch to catch

hear i lie
ears closed
eyelids open
lungs still
movement ceaces

pain returns

the lie wasn't worth it

so i fall
again
hoping to catch forgiveness
like a branch on this cliff
to save me from certian death

will i catch the branch again
or pay for being human
FAITH lies in hope
HOPE promotes future promises
PROMISES create and satisfy desire
DESIRE leads to selfishness
SELFISHNESS call for forgiveness
FORGIVENESS is a result of love and
LOVE puts faith in another

IGNORANCE

the pain he endures is that no one should see
scorn, mockery, judgement
DEATH
all because he is not like them.
one thing can make all the difference.
yet that is what it is they hate
d.i.f.f.e.r.e.n.c.e.

this world is comfort seeking
when others' spaces of their known are shaken they will fight for its protection
there is no caring of tears
no hurt for the other

just pitty
purely vile pitty.
the poison of justification

the evil search of RIGHTousness
fearing the title wrong pushes pride
pride pushes morality and firery anger

people are cruel and selfish beings
they protect what they know and only know what they open thier minds to see.

winter

flowers fall with the chill of the wind
winter comes to end the colors
white lays upon the earth
still.
soft.
silent.
branches break
crack
no one to hear the fall
streams freeze
froozen life
life stops
till the suns warth comes again.

the last day of april

say goodbye to april,
no more showers of new spring.
tormorrow will be a new day,
may and summery june are on their way.

say goodbye to april,
the flowers have all begun to bloom.
the cherry blossoms have faded to leaves,
and they begin to look un-new as their deep red grieves.

so say goodbye to april,
soon say goodbye to spring.
no more little girl in a flower crown,
the time is now to lay the forget me nots down.

say goodby to april,
for it is followed by summer than winter will fall.
the trees grow and change with the season and swallow,
and i the little girl with her forget me nots must follow.

i will love you in this winter

lost in the feelings of love and summer a cold breeze blew,
i went to bed thinking nothing of it – if only i really knew.
when i awoke there was snow on the ground,
my blooming flowers were no where to be found.
winter had come early for i no recollection of fall,
my heart was sad and fearful with absence of the blue birds call.
winter had come early for your kiss felt so real,
i was not ready for this change with the way you made my heart feel.
you are my flowers covered in snow,
i am fighting to uncover them so you won’t turn cold and go.
yet my hands are numb and I cannot work as fast,
and the fears of tomorrow join with my past.
will this sudden winter not be followed by spring,
will you not stay to hear the returned blue bird sing?
my heart is catching the bitter frost bite,
my tears are frozen and falling out of sight.
all I can do now is sit and wait,
praying to the Father and giving up our fate.
yet i still long to keep you warm,
i wan to protect your heart from being torn.
see i love you now and will forever,
and my love for you in all seasons changes never.
but you need to be free and i must let go,
even though deep within my soul is screaming no.
yet because i love you more than me,
i will let you fly like the blue bird: free.
i will wait this winter out, facing the cold for you my love,
in hopes your flight brings you closer to the Father’s wants above.
i pray you will find another forest in the mist of spring,
where you can forget the pain feeling warm with the sun it will bring.
and I pray this new love will flow with joy and learning,
that your heart will know love is not a mere yearning.
love is facing all types of storms and seasons,
or it would mean little and exist for no reason.
just remember on your travels that i will always be here,
i will listen and hold you in your joy and your fear.
i pray that only my heart would splinter,
for i will love you in this winter.

The Power in Silence

LIFE is a conflict. It creates controversy. For every person takes life in differently, creates their own opinion, and will encore to that or be swayed by the tides. However, people have to care about it in order to stand up and face the battle. Yes, life happens: but it is out reaction to life that makes controversy happen. The way people deal with having different ideas, beliefs, morals, etcetera varies between two types of people:
non-confrontational and I-am-going-to-tell-you-what-I-think-and-I-don’t-care-if-I-have-to-tie-you-in-a-chair-to-do-so, aka confrontational people. Of coarse there are degrees to the two, yet I am the tie-you-in-a-chair one. I have always been. However, I do not seek out those who will just listen to me and keep their opinion to themselves. I want to find another with the equal amount of passion towards a hot topic. I used to view non-confrontational people as weak; and the weak created war in my world. But I have learned after losing many battles to listen and understand, instead of merely opening my mouth. And I have found there is a mighty power in silence. Otherwise war would not just lie in a foreign soil but in every heart, home, community, and country. The wars of unspoken words hold this world together.

A Happy Thought

I believe in Peter Pan.
On my 13th birthday I decided that if he did not come that night,
He would never come.
My window was unlocked and open.
My warm pjs were on just in case.
My dreams were of flying through the stars to that place I longed to go
Neverland.
Neverland.
What a pecular name.
And He never came.
I awoke to realize my dreams of pirates, mermaids, Indians, and Fairies was
Only in my head.
I lay in my bed warm in my covers.
Cold in my heart.
He did not come.
Neverland.

Now I am an adult.
No longer can I venture to that never dying land.
Neverland.
But I still believe in Peter Pan.
For Neverland lives in my heart.
To fly there one must not look around.
But within.
Happy thoughts make you fly.
Happy thoughts are what allow the fairie dust their magic.
And the fairie dust is smipily:
Believing.
Neverland.
Neverland.
Tinkerbell.
And Peter Pan.

To My Love

I live for those moments when I got lost in the blue of your eye,
And there are no words that can describe the feelings that stirred inside.
Yet I did not understand nor comprehend true everlasting love,
For I looked to my emotions and feelings for guidance not my Father above.
I loved you with strict conditions that I thought were just and right,
But before I could stop and think you were gone from my dear sight.
I could barely breathe without your joyous presence,
Thus I finally realized upon whom I was dependant.
You, my love, where what my world revolved around,
For I was addicted to what in you I had found.
Yet through your absence I learned what my selfishness had costed,
And I began to live through the delicate healing process.
Finally my eyes were opened and my heart unveiled to the message I needed to be taught,
The same one I before had so viscously fought:
Love is choosing self sacrifice,
It something that stands before all others untouched and unpriced.
For love is not taking and holding on tight,
It is letting go and giving it flight,
And if it is true, it will come back when the time is just right.

Love is...

Love is not a mere feeling but a choice
Love is sharing and singing of ones voice
Love is growing in the storms and the rain
Love is tears of: sorrow, smiles, joy, and pain
Love is always patient, kind, and true
Love is who you are, not what you do
Love is something I am still learning
Loves now not just a yearning
God has sent me people like you
To show me the meaning behind:
I LOVE YOU!
